Calling All Beta-Testers

The most exciting addition to The Beachy Quilter’s 2019 offerings are digital designs for quilt and embroidery machines.  With our digitizing software we can save files in the following embroidery formats:

• Baby Lock/Brother/Bernina (PES)
• Elna/Janome/Kenmore (SEW)
• Janome/Elna (JEF)
• Melco/Bernina (EXP)
• Pfaff (PCS)
• Singer (XXX)
• Tajima (DST)
• Viking D1 (SHV)
• Viking (HUS)
• Viking/Pfaff (VIP)
• Viking/Pfaff (VP3)
• Viking/Pfaff (VP4) – PLUS level only 

The challenge with any machine process is that the quality of steps necessary to produce the file are not fully known.  The software company does not guarantee all formats will work and recommends testing.  Well of course we don’t have every machine to test these designs on, we only have a Babylock Intrepid six needle machine.  What we need is a team of dedicated testers for any new design we might offer.  Here is what we need.

• Ability to test the file for your machine, one can it be read and stitched, and
• the quality of the design and stitches,
• any errors encountered, and
• documenting any unique steps along the way.

Our goal is to provide the necessary documentation from our site and through video support through our YouTube Channel.  But what’s in it for you, you might ask?  How all your designs for FREE?  How about a 5% royalty of tested designs?  You see we don’t have a large staff, there’s just the two of us and we need outside help to make this Beachy dream come true.  How would you like to be one of our testers?  If interested, please reply to admin@thebeachyquilter.com if you can test one of the machine formats (other than PES) listed above.  If you decide to join please submit to us your model of the machine used for testing as as each may have its own unique issues.
